Tim Sales Teaches a System for Network Marketing Success

Tim Sales talks about the personal framework he used to earn millions in network marketing.

He also talks about what to do if your company gets attacked… great closing strategies… how to get over the “no money” objection and much more.

Who is Tim Sales?

Tim Sales served in the US Navy Special Operations before he answered an ad and started his MLM business in 1989.

Since then, he has made millions in his career as a network marketer. Heโ€™s also contributed tremendously in helping network marketing get accepted as a profession with his generic prospecting and training tools such as Brilliant Compensation (which has been downloaded 44 million times), Professional Inviter and the Professional Presenter.

Tim was also a teacher at the only university-affiliated network marketing certificate course offered by the University of Illinois at Chicago. Heโ€™s been interviewed by Larry King and Grant Cardone.

After 18 years of residual income, Timโ€™s network marketing company bought his business but he missed building and in 2011 he started from scratch and became a founding distributor for a new company.

Today, Tim Salesโ€™ team generates over $230 million in annual sales and he has created 57 millionaires in the last 8 years.

He also appeared on episode 620 where he compared the success rate of real estate versus network marketing

How Tim Sales Started in Network Marketing

Tim Sales was in the US Navy Special Operations when he realized something important. A professor told him that to make a lot of money, you either own it or sell it. That idea stuck with him.

Years later, he was buying his first house but came up short on money. He started looking for ways to make extra income. That was when he saw a newspaper ad that promised big money and said, โ€œWill Train.โ€

That ad changed his life. He joined network marketing, even though he did not understand it at first. But he knew one thingโ€”if someone could train him, he could learn it.

Turning Point in Tim Salesโ€™ Network Marketing Business

Tim Sales had success early on but did not fully understand network marketing. Then, disaster struck. His company was attacked by the media, and his income dropped from $65,000 to $16,000 a month.

Most people panicked and left. But Tim decided to stay and study. He wanted to understand the industry inside and out.

That is when he realized network marketing is just like any other business. Every company needs leads, presentations, and follow-ups. Once he understood that, he rebuilt his business bigger than ever.

Tim Salesโ€™ Worst Moment in Network Marketing

The worst moment in Timโ€™s career was when his company was under media attack. Headlines labeled it a pyramid scheme, and people started quitting fast.

At first, Tim was scared. But then he realized something. His income stopped dropping at $16,000. That was because of his customers and team members who stayed.

That taught him a powerful lessonโ€”always build a strong customer base. Customers are the foundation of a long-term business.

The Best and Worst Things About Network Marketing

Tim believes the best thing to happen to network marketing is the internet. It is now easier than ever to find people and build a global business.

The worst thing, though, is misinformation. A few negative voices dominate search results, making the industry look bad.

Tim started his YouTube channel, Network Marketing Power, to share the truth. He wants people to see the real value of MLM.

The Million Dollar Question for Tim Sales

If Tim Sales had to start over with no contacts, he would use social media.

First, he would build relationships by commenting and liking posts. Then, he would start conversations and find people who are open to network marketing.

He would also run ads, use Facebook groups, and even send postcards. His goal would be to fill his prospecting pipeline fast.
